Autel Vehicle Coverage List vs Guesswork: How to Use an Autel OBD2 Scanner in a Real Shop

When a 2015 Infiniti Q50 rolled in on a Friday afternoon with the check-engine light on and an exhaust-system code stored, I had about 45 minutes to choose the direction of the repair. The owner needed the car back the next morning. The stored code was P0420, and the tempting move was to order a catalytic converter and start unbolting things.
